Six Counties AGA Rangemaster service and Repair.

From Head Engineer North and Director Max Hockin:

It began in 2010 when I first started out as an AGA Rangemaster apprentice. working to become an approved engineer I qualified a few years. Gaining vast experience and qualifications I became a specialist in repairing and maintaining AGA and Rangemaster Range cookers including Falcon and Mercury range cookers. From here I was able to work on all electric and gas ranges becoming Gas Safe and electrically qualified to work on appliances.

2015 – AGA get bought out by Middleby (US company) – I continue to work under the new regime and changes inevitable start to take place. AGA Rangemaster started to make redundancies and between 2018 – 2020 all engineers were let go.

2020 – I started Six Counties AGA / Rangemaster / Service / Repair. Using my extensive knowledge and experience I set up the company on my own and continued to work indirectly for AGA Rangemaster on a sub contract through the company ‘Repairtech’ (we still sub contact for AGA Rangemaster). I continued privately with my ‘approved AGA Rangemaster status’ and becoming one of AGA Rangemaster recommended companies. You can find the approved six counties AGA Rangemaster business on the aga living website. I worked on my own in the Southern area based in Hertfordshire gaining over 3000 AGA Rangemaster customers.

2022 – I employed my first and only apprentice – Joshua Pack – Head Engineer South. Josh worked with me whilst gaining his qualifications at college such as Gas Safe and electrical appliance certificates. In 2025 Josh started working on his own with his own stock, tools and van. He became the approved AGA engineer in Hertfordshire and gained his Head Engineer South status.

2026 – I moved to Sheffield to expand the business where I plan to spend be for the foreseeable future. I created Six Counties North and am now based in Sharrow Vale off Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. Here I plan to recreate what we did down South and aim to have just as much as an extensive customer base that can rely on Six Counties to advise, service and repair their AGA Rangemaster Range cookers including Falcon and Mercury.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an issue with the halogen hob on our Falcon range cooker. Not only was the fault diagnosed quickly and repaired, but a number of other issues were identified and repaired, which has massively improved the operation of the oven. Fantastic service and good value for money; I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
